Our Drainage Services
We handle everything from a slow kitchen drain to a collapsed sewer line. Here’s a look at what we offer:
Drain Cleaning
Buildup happens. Hair, grease, soap scum, tree roots. We clean it out the right way so it stays clear longer.Drain Repair
Cracked pipe, joint failure, corrosion. If the drain itself is the problem, we fix it.Drain Installation & Replacement
New construction or full replacement, we install drains that are built to last and up to code.Hydro Jetting
High-pressure water clears out what snaking can’t reach. Good for stubborn clogs and grease buildup in older lines.Sewer Camera Inspection
We run a camera through the line to see exactly what’s going on before we dig anything up.Trenchless Sewer Repair
Busted sewer line doesn’t always mean a torn-up yard. Trenchless repair gets the job done underground.Signs You Have a Drainage Problem
Most drainage issues don’t start as emergencies. They start small. Here’s what to watch for:
- Drains that empty slowly, in the kitchen, bath, or laundry
- Gurgling or bubbling sounds from toilets or floor drains
- Water pooling around floor drains or backing up into tubs
- Sewage or sulfur smell from any drain in the house
- More than one drain clogging at the same time (main line indicator)
- Wet spots or soft ground in the yard near your sewer line
One slow drain is usually a local clog. Multiple slow drains at once usually means the main line. Either way, it gets worse the longer you wait.

AVERAGE Based on 16 reviews Posted on Yelp Jessica D.Verified I spent weeks looking for the right company to replace two boilers at my work. Told Plumbing's customer service and bid won them the project. They were able to get the project scheduled rather quickly and even considered the weather so as not to cause too much disruption to our office conditions. The employees assigned to the week long project were professional, trustworthy, and independent workers, meaning they didn't interrupt our work. They left the work space clean and were very polite. The billing portion was simple and timely. And after two months, we have not had any trouble with the new boilers and we have reliable heat. I will use Told Plumbing again for both work and personal projects.Posted on Yelp Timothy S.Verified Thank goodness for Told Plumbing. Nothing worse than a cold shower at 6 am before work. Well, that was yesterday. Isaac came out after hours to help us. He did the best he could with the old unit in our new place, but to no avail, the thing was too far gone. Flash forward to today, Isaac was back by 12:30pm with his assistant Ron. The two of them had the old unit out, the new one in in about an hour, all connected, and the entire work area was clean and back to normal. They even carted off the old unit. And they did all this to the serenade of three barking dogs without missing a beat. I have their magnet front and center on the fridge should any other plumbing issues arise. If you have not guessed by now, yes, I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Ask for Isaac!!!!Posted on Yelp Alice A.Verified We use Told Plumbing for their Handyman services. Several times we've had Marlin come out and he can do everything! He explains things well and will tell you what could be done before hand to save you money. I've never had a bad job done by them. I think the prices are very reasonable as well.Posted on Yelp CheapSeat S.Verified I replaced our water heater 8 years ago. I bought one at Lowes and installed it myself. (I hate paying people to do stuff I can do.) It had a 12 year factory warranty. It sprung a leak this week so I called Whirlpool about the warranty and they wouldn't go past the fact I'm not a licensed plumber. So I called Told Plumbing and told them I just wanted a new one installed, since I'm now a bit handicapped can't haul water heaters around any more. The guy that does the work called me and asked me about the brand/warranty and where I got it. When he got here, he said he'd take care of it. He ripped it out, hauled it down to Lowes, and got them to replace it for free with a newer model! He ended up only charging me for the installation which was less than the cost of the new water heater itself. Woot! THAT is what I call customer service! The guy's name is "JP"

Drainage Services FAQs
How much does drain cleaning cost in Utah County?
Most standard drain cleaning jobs run between $100 and $300 depending on the type of drain, the location, and whether it needs snaking or hydro jetting. Main line clogs cost more. We give you a flat-rate quote upfront so there’s no guessing.
How long does drain cleaning take?
A typical single-drain cleaning takes 30 to 60 minutes. Main line work or hydro jetting can run 1 to 2 hours. We show up, we assess, and we tell you what we’re dealing with before we start the clock.
Can I use store-bought drain cleaner instead of calling a plumber?
You can, but chemical drain cleaners are rough on pipes. They can soften PVC, eat through metal fittings over time, and they rarely solve the actual problem. If you’re dumping Drano every few weeks, there’s a buildup issue that a real cleaning would fix for good.
When should I call a plumber instead of trying to fix it myself?
Call us if: more than one drain is slow at the same time, if you smell sewage anywhere in the house, if water is backing up into a tub or floor drain, or if you’ve already tried the plunger and it’s not working. Those are signs the problem is past the trap.
Do you serve areas outside of Orem?
We do. Most of our work is in Utah County (Orem, Provo, Pleasant Grove, Lehi, American Fork, Spanish Fork, Payson), but we also take jobs in Salt Lake County, out to Park City, and up toward Ogden and Davis County. Give us a call and we’ll let you know if we cover your area.
